Blessed are you

You are a human, an imago dei; do you not know the glory in store for you?

Don’t stop in nature and in life with trivial temporal mother earth. Pause and think for a moment, though, how majestic is that plateau. And then begin the perception of the Creator of the heavens and earth who imbues them with His glory, who came into our story and yet is above and beyond all things and within all things. And then come back and see the setting sun with a breeze of reddish nascent autumn setting and know that this is a creation made for YOU, and see the holes in the palms of Him dying for you and worship unending. “Blessed are those who see not, yet still believe.”

There are only so many more of these infinitely rewarding sunsets for those yet to make a decision. “Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.” And know and see that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us; that the divine Logos, the ordering principle of all things, was here on this earth and is coming again soon. “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.” Water from wells which never run dry are freely given to you, waters which are more satiating than the most glorious meadow at dusk or the mountains in early sunlight awe. And then, Rejoice Evermore even unto the point of death; “Do you not know that we will judge angels?” Life only becomes more unbelievably stunning with each unending day.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Even stones cry out at this; nothing is still and death fades as the Light is dawning.

Life shall be given, and given freely. All tears will be wiped away. Living water will flow from the center, and there will be no more curses.

“The Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.” I can barely write that verse without being slain by it. What everlasting spirals of upward wonder contained in the words, syntax, grammar, concepts, and spirit of that one living sentence. It is new as God is new as a sunset is new as children are new and as you are new when you are born again. Rejoice Evermore.

I want to write, as millions have before me. And I want to know what it is to be human, as few have before me.
