There are of course many facets to this new movement, but here is the longest lasting and most threatening to the elites:
Those of us (mainly young but certainly can be any age) who have grown up and matured during this new millennium, and who perhaps are neither wealthy nor famous nor cookie-cutter personas.
We are not ultimately satisfied by this culture, and we suspect its rottenness emanates from nearly all of its societal norms. Porn siphoned off but did not kill our vitality, the same for pain pills, fast food, reality TV, social media, ideology, advertisements, mirages of prosperity, and guidelines for who we should be, how we should think, and what we should feel. Cynicism did not fully destroy us even if we walked through many days, months, and years wherein the only thought in our minds with any true weight was that of ending our life. NONE of that fully-eclipsed the Light.
And now, suddenly, all this darkness, this vapid passivity that dazes everyone, is starting to dissipate. Those methods used in the past to bind the curious ones down in chains will no longer work. We already know that the allure of wealth and power and women and fame corrupt our souls beyond belief. We are not here because we want fade away and drift off towards middle age on the currents of a manufactured lazy river. We desire Truth and Light.
You who read this and want it to end, know this: you won’t be able to buy us off—our souls are priceless—nor will you be able to blackmail us as our sins have already been washed clean in the blood of the Lamb. We have nothing to lose because we have gained all that matters already. We are not mindless bitter youths ready to riot at the first go signal from our masters. We won’t be pacified with sterile lusts and insipid praise. We won’t be cowed if we are cancelled or hounded off with pitchforks. Violence begets violence; cowardice begets cowardice; truth begets truth; joy begets joy. We are Americans and we are what it truly means to be patriots. And as Americans, we desire our birthright: Freedom. Mental, emotional, spiritual, ideological, physical, and biological slavery can and will not coexist with our birthright of liberty.
So go ahead, ruin our reputations (we had none but that which we held in our own souls anyways); take our current or future wealth (for our treasure is stored in Heaven); turn our own friends and families against us (we know the playbook). Try to legislate us into servitude and watch what was once a stream of dissenters turn into a mighty flood. Take away our right to defend ourselves in speech or religion or weapons. Round us all up and cure the population until they are sterilized, immunized, and impotent. Know that even then, after we are dead, there will be no end of the American spirit, no end to those even younger than us rising up and unleashing themselves from the Eye.
Our American experiment would not end even if we were lying in the street choking on our own blood, not even close. That spirit (“…if this long island story of ours is to end at last, let it end only when each one of us lies choking in his own blood upon the ground”) was enough for Churchill to convince the British to stave off the Third Reich at its height. The British at their weakest fought off the overwhelming forces of darkness. We Americans at our weakest fought off the British at their strongest. There are exponential degrees of strength that we patriots have not even begun to draw upon yet.
We have the Antidote already within us.
And so to those forces of censorship and weaponized morality that so clog the arteries of our nation, know this: the battle has already been won you fools.
Good luck though.
